HITCHCOCK HOUSE
Experience the feeling of run away slaves hiding in a secret basement of a 1800 stone house, with your freedom  being threatened by searchers rampaging upstairs.  The dirt floor is cold an the fire in the huge fireplace is low.  You wonder if the flight to freedom will come to pass.

The Hitchcock House is one of the few remaining stations of the "Underground Railroad" through Iowa.  Listed  on the National Register of Historical Places and Nominated for the Network to Freedom.

THE DOLL HOUSE
Produced locally and come with their own little book!
Visit a 108 year old cottage that hundreds of dolls call home.  Hear the interesting story about the official Mormon Trail Dolls and some history about their journey across Iowa on a wagon train in 1846-47. 

There is a Barbie closet, a porcelain doll room, antique dolls and dolls from all years.

In the kitchen dolls sew, bake, pray and feed baby.  In the bathroom you can hear squeals from the babies in the tub.
     RUSH FARM ANTIQUES.
A must  see with McCormick and International Harverster horse drawn equipment and tractors, classic cars and many household items.  The building housing the antiques was built in 1854 and topped off by a windmill inside extending through the roof..
